On average, Winnipeg gets 110 cm of snow throughout the winter. Two years ago we got 80 cm. That was a good year.
Last year we got 160 cm. That’s half a metre more than average and double what we’d received the year before. I nearly died from shovelling. No, I didn’t have a heart attack (and that is nothing to joke about. It happens with a scary regularity.) I just mean that I was so very, very tired of white stuff by the time snow turned to rain.
We are on pace for the same this year.
It’s killing me. I have decent sized front and back yards but I’m running out of places to put the snow. AND we’re expecting another 5 to 15 cm overnight.
Okay, Mother Nature. Enough already. You win.
