February Reading List

free photo booksJanuary and February have been a good time for finding new authors and new books from old favourites.

Pride Mates by Jennifer Ashley – This series was recommended to me a long time ago but the sample didn’t grab me. The e-book recently came on sale so I gave it on sale. Well written, good characters. The only downside is that it was a wee bit heartbreaking (but great writing will do that do you.) Now I’m tracking down the rest of the series.

Frenched by Melanie Harlow – This contemporary romance was fun, sexy and set in France. I’m not usually a fan of 1st person narrating but this was a great exception. I’ll be interested to check out more books from Harlow.

Neanderthal Seeks Human by Penny Reid – I’m in love with Penny Reid! She is fantastic! Her characters are hilarious and writing is 100% instantly addictive. I read her entire Knitting in the City series in less that a week. I highly, highly recommend these books.

Destined Havoc by Nina Levine – This novella spins off Levine’s Storm Motorcycle Club books. As a twist to the standard MC series, this one is set in Australia. Dirty talking bikers–with accents. What’s not to love? After reading this , I pulled out her series and started a reread.

Rebecca/Lorelei/Paisley (Alpha Marked 4, 5, & 6) by Celia Kyle – This is the second Alpha Marked trilogy. Kyle writes sexy werewolves with a unique world. I loved what she did after the first trilogy and I hope she has another one planned.
